3D Printing Center


The center is equipped with professional researchers and cutting-edge 3D printing devices that are used for making orthopedic models, knee osteotomy positioning guides, and customized implants, i.e. EOS M280 for metal, EOS P110 for nylon and FDM for thermoplastic polymers.



Mechanics Center


The material lab studies surface and thermal treatment of medical metal material. Technologies conducted here have been applied to IRENE production system already. Also this lab set standards regarding manufacturing and quality control to increase the processing capacity of IRENE Plant.



Material Lab

Evaluation Lab


The evaluation lab focuses on biomechanics and safety evaluation of orthopedic implants. Product samples are tested here for mechanics check and structural optimization. Both uniaxial mechanical tests and computer assist finite element methods are applied for orthopedics implant evaluation.

Analytical Lab


The removal implants will be analyzed and investigated in this laboratory. Over 2,000 cases have been examined to analyze deficient causes by far. The experimental results would provide crucial data to product managers for product improvement and surgical procedure optimization.
